• Orchestrated the development and launch of Hot Stove Nation’s Hot Stove New York weblog, a web site devoted to fan-generated content focusing on the nine major professional sports teams in the New York metropolitan area.
• Served as the project architect, responsible for the look of the web site as well as serving as the site’s sole writer during its first six months of operation.
• Authored numerous editorial columns and cartoons and contributed over 1,100 blog entries from January 2007 - August 2008.
• Made effective use of php script and CSS style sheets in the site’s custom Wordpress theme, and designed original logos and other graphic elements for use in the site’s design.
• Provide leadership and direction to the staff writers on content creation and ensure that information is accurate and true to the voice and tone of the site.
• Responsible for day-to-day maintenance, including front-end troubleshooting.
• Analyze the effectiveness of online promotions based on web site metrics such as Google Analytics and Stat Counter.
• Set up and utilized offshoot web identities, including Facebook, YardBarker and MySpace.
• Photo editing for the web, using Adobe Photoshop and ImageReady, and the creation of Flash animation.
• Developed and launched Hot Stove New York’s sister site, Hot Stove Philly, focusing on sports in Philadelphia, PA.

Created some quick logos for friend and colleague Ed Valentine to spice up several regular columns and features that appear on the New York Giants weblog Big Blue View. The graphic elements are largely examples of clip art I pilfered off Google.










Operated within a tight budget to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Intermarket Communications by augmenting their web design, including the addition of web-optimized graphic elements and Flash animation.
